VRPlayer is a versatile media player that offers a range of features catering to virtual reality enthusiasts. With the ability to play both 2D and 3D movies, including various formats like mp4, mov, and DRM free m4v, VRPlayer delivers an immersive viewing experience. It also supports subtitle files in smi and srt formats.

What sets VRPlayer apart is its real-time streaming capability via VRPlayer Helper. This feature allows users to stream a wide range of file formats such as mp4, mov, m4v, mkv, avi, wmv, and more directly to the app. Additionally, VRPlayer allows access to various sources including VRPlayer Helper (streaming server), folders, FTP servers, GoogleDrive, Dropbox, and the Video Library.

Controlling VRPlayer is made easy with different options. Users can use a keyboard, either through Bluetooth or USB connectivity (via a camera kit), to navigate through the app's interface. The keyboard of the PC on which VRPlayer Helper is installed can also be used. In addition to keyboard control, VRPlayer is compatible with popular game controllers like Xbox and Playstation Dualshock controllers.

With VRPlayer, users can enjoy panoramic photos in virtual reality. The app supports multiple gestures for intuitive control during playback. These gestures include tap the screen with two fingers to switch between 2D and 3D modes, double tap to zoom in or out, swipe right to skip forward 5 seconds, swipe left to skip back 5 seconds, swipe right with two fingers to increase playback speed, swipe left with two fingers to decrease playback speed. Moreover, holding down with one finger enables selecting audio or subtitles. Users can also drag and drop subtitles to change their position and pinch in or out on the screen to adjust subtitle font size.
